Ocean Breeze Marine Service & Repair

Took boat for cosmetic work on lower unit, they disassembled the lower unit and said they repaired (they just sprayed paint to cover over) so not fixed, I also asked to repair right brake light, well not fixed, I was stopped by cops less than 24 hrs after supposably they repaired the light, they also charged me for an outboard 100hr maintenance service, after this incident I took to another (dealer mechanic) sure enough, they stated no oil had been changed because it was old oil and they claim to have changed other parts that they charged me for but dealer said they never replaced anything. motor still has original factory parts the business owner (Tony) claims they changed. 5 days later took boat for a ride out on the Bay with in 20 minutes motor quit left me stranded in the middle of bay with wife and kids (damage to lower unit- same part they disassembled and put back together)., paid 1k to get this work done only to now end up with a damaged (almost brand new motor only 280hrs use) they refuse to repair, replace or refund my money so stay tuned..filling BBB complaint, small claims action suite and some more legal action, (buy the way damage to lower unit visible when supposably he repaired so after paint fell off, He even used cheep paint small crack now clearly visible) yea fraud charges will ensue.!!! When i gave him the opportunity to correct the problem Tony left my boat unattended, disassembled and stated I needed to remove my boat from his property Clearly you can see the small crack they should have repaired Pic1 and two you can see before i took it in for repair Pic3 shows they just painted over it (no actual repair) this guy is a fraud !!!! Ocean Breeze Marine has provided me with top quality service for over 3 years. My outboards are 2 Stroke Yamahas and Tony definitely has an expertise with them. They have conducted service which has included replacing battery switches, antenna replacement and a major upgrade to one of my outboards. Tony has been very responsive and definitely provides great service at a reasonable price. He always strives for perfection.

Update: since I wrote this review below, I had them work on a few new items: led light bar, new batteries with charger, XM radio issue, livewell leak, I have to say once again they do excellent work. Very happy with the results. They took the initiative to call Garmin so they could send me the right replacement part. My boat and trailer are now up to date on all maintenance items and issues. Thanks Original review: Excellent shop. Very happy with the work done. I had them service my trailer. These guys were very professional. Tony took my call on a late afternoon and set me up with an appointment. The brakes on my 4 year old trailer were rusted out. Got new brake rotors, pads and calipers. They also found a couple of other issues that were addressed. Work was done in a couple of days as discussed. I like how they provided updates with pictures and provided a breakdown of parts and labor costs. It is hard to find honest shops in my area. Planning on coming back for other services and to add some accessories on the boat. Thank you.

Can't speak highly enough about Ocean Breeze. Everybody there is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I took my new boat in for some service and they turned it around quickly and at very reasonable prices. Isaac answered all of my questions and Tony was very helpful as well. Your boat will be in good hands there. I can't wait to get out on the water now. I'll be back for routine work! 10/10
