I emailed to request an appointment and told them the boat was up on blocks in the water. When they emailed back they asked if the boat was up on land. I replied back, no it is up on blocks in the water as it was last year and I sent a picture. I then cleaned off the leaves that had landed in the boat. When the technician arrived he said he wasn't informed it was in the water, so he would go do another job and be back in an hour. A few days later I asked when it was going to be done, and they said, the next day, so I cleaned off the leaves again. A few days later I asked again when the boat would be wrapped and they said the next day. I cleaned off the leaves again, and late in the day the boat was finally wrapped. Hopefully no leaves came down that day.

Of course my boat engine started having issues right before the busy holiday weekend, but they came out quickly and got her fixed just in time! Thank you Eric, Jen and the rest of the Oakland Shrinkwrap crew!

I never thought I'd ever have a boat of my own, but I was able to buy mine in the fall of 2023. She's a 1980 Rinkerbuilt Regent runabout, and she's in immaculate condition. As I want to keep her that way, I looked for a place that would not only winterize and shrinkwrap, but be willing to work on a classic boat. Oakland Shrinkwrap and Winterization was (and is) such a place! They're honest, reputable, and fairly priced. They also offer winter storage, which is nice. I recommend them 100%.

I called late in the season, very last minute, trying to get someone to help with shrink wrapping patio furniture due to unforeseen issues. Eric was able to get me booked and the job complete within a week. Communication was great with emails & texts that kept me updated on appointment reminders as well as a schedule time changes.
