North Lakes Marine & Auto

I was referred to Northlakes to have a couple cracks in the transom of my john boat welded. Nick took care of it, and warned me that it was only temporary, and likely to re-crack after a while. He was correct, and the weight of my motor caused the welds to break after about a year. He mentioned at the time of the repair that a more substantial repair would be necessary to make it hold up. I took the boat back in, and he evaluated and indicated the time involved could push the repairs to around $1000 possibly. I wasn't willing to invest that much, so asked him to just re-weld the cracks to get me through the season. When I went to pick the boat up, he had welded the cracks, and graciously did not charge me. Thank you, Northlakes!

Wish I had a 5 star review but unfortunately I had the worst experience possible. Our car was being repaired from an accident and was there for a month and a half. When my wife returned with the car it had an engine light on and the exhaust was broken. The brakes barely stopped the car and their was a vibration. The paint job was the worst part of the repair. I can't believe anyone with a bit of dignity would return a vehicle to a customer in the condition ours was. I don't know how you could do this, you must not have a conscience.

Bill was kind enough to return our phone call when we really needed help. Our brakes went out at the boat landing the night before we needed to get home. He worked hard to fit us in and got us back on the road. We really appreciate it Bill!

Have had my car maintenance done and both car and boat repair work done here. The cost for everything has been very reasonable. Also with both the car and boat repair, they went above and beyond. Extremely helpful and friendly. This is our 'go-to' place and highly recommended!

North Lakes Marine and Auto are a top notch shop. The work is done in a timely fashion and prices are good. I am the owner of a Behind the Wheel driving school, so I bring my vehicles to North Lakes often. I have had only good experiences and know that I can trust Bill and his crew. They are amazing and I am lucky to have such knowledge and expertise so close to home. I would highly recommend them. Also, make sure you say hi to Nadja, the friendliest auto pup around!
