Newport Yachting Center Marina

Coming into the Dock for fuel, nobody on service, tied up and waited for morning service. Charged $70 for waiting to be fuelled, absolute liberty, no facilities made available (as no-one on hand) and when discussed got offered the option of a $1 discount for the night. Guy needs his attitude checked. Not to mention that I had the option to anchor for free in the Bay (which I continued to do after receiving fuel. Daylight robbery with a management attitude issue.

This is my go-to marina when I'm in Newport for a race. The place is well maintained and well laid out, with easy docking in all of the slips. The dock staff are all knowledgeable and attentive, showing up where they need to be without prompting to get you tied up and cast off. They make sure you have what you need, asking intelligent questions based on what kind of boat you have. The location at the center of town is perfect. Easy access to all the best of what Newport has to offer.
