The public access has 2 sides to it, one on the east side of the causeway and 1 on the west side. The west side is definitely intended for the larger craft, and the east side would be better suited for kayaks, PWC, and maybe small fishing vessels. Last time I looked on the east side, there was not a dock at the launch. On the west side, there is a significant hill, and the access is not paved so you will want to make sure that your tow vehicle can handle the situation. There are a few parking spots near the launch and about 10-15 more up the hill slightly removed from the launch. Overall, one of our favorite lakes in west Michigan.

Ramp is nice but only parking for 6 vehicles very difficult to turn around tight quarters
