Moss Landing North Harbor Boat Launch Ramp

In the words of the our great local writer John Steinbeck, this boat ramp has everything that a boat ramp should have. It's not too steep and not too shallow. It is very wide so you won't bump into things. And it has three nice floating docks. The parking for your truck and trailer is very ample too, and most of the time, quite empty. There is even a bathroom quite nice for those urgent needs. If you come back cold and hungry from those frigid California waters, you could saunter on over (or stagger if you are too frozen, your choice) to the Sea Harvest restaurant just at the end of the parking lot overlooking the harbor. They got things to warm you back up in a jiffy. The cost of using this ramp is not cheap. About $21 to launch your boat and park for the day. But for a ramp that world famous novels have been written about, like From Land to Water, Incline Adventures, and The Wet Feet Diaries, quite worth your while!

Nice, protected waters to launch your boats and small watercraft. Ample parking and toilets nearby.

Always been going there. From the age of 5. So 45 years. Many great memories and one of my favorite places to watch sunset or rise.

Nice place to watch the boats sail in and out of port. Nice place to eat right on water also.
