Montgomery County Boat Repair Reviews*

Montgomery County Boat Repair LLC are absolutely a scam and con. I financially assisted my elderly father to the tune of over 2000 to restore his 25 year old pontoon boat that hadn’t been operated in years. Like most of the negative reviews about this place, my first interaction is on par and consistent with some of the previous negative reviews. Initially Marc was pleasant, and he appeared genuine and transparent. However, the next 60 days were filled with lies, deception, evasion, excuses and finally him admitting on text that he used the money that was given to him because of his personal woes with his ex wife and his land. He also lost the key to my boat and never replaced or compensated me for the cost so I'm out several hundred dollars. But don’t take my word for it. Simply read the text thread. He has absolutely zero shame scamming a senior citizen and won’t think twice about scamming you.

The initial post by me needs to be removed by Google. I’ve repeatedly asked Google to remove the negative review which has been modified in my opinion in the effort to bring conflict between Mark ,the owner and myself both. The person Ray Wafer is a con artist a hacker and their . Please remove this post made in 2023!
Mark didn’t steal anything from me. I gave it to him.

Beware. This guy seem to give an image of being different than other boat repair locations, I thought there was some honesty originally. Initially work was done fairly efficiently and seemed fair with pricing. As time went along it seem to slip into an unorganized mess of getting work done. He tries to present an image of not knowing or forgetting such as "what boat is yours"? or "What was wrong with it"? But he is sly like a fox and knows exactly which one, what he has done or not done. Recently he had my boat for a month and never fixed it. Started with one problem, then it was another and then another. Paid for a starter not even sure it was installed. Then it was bad fuel and needed a filter, then it was carburetor, then it was locked up and needed engine bearing repair, etc. My advice is don't.

If you want repairs done right and reasonable price this is your guy. Now may have been more of a wait then I was wanting however he also working on like 10 different boats at a time so if your someone who's gonna complain about things taking longer than usual then go spend 3x more somewhere else. He is very fair and honest.
