Miller Boat Launch

Basic launch ramp. Now has lighting on the dock. Free parking except overnight. Overnight requires an online camping permit. Upper dirt lot is for overflow parking. Bathroom buildings are closed but portable bathroom available.

Needs cleaning, too much mud on the ramp, difficult to launch and bring boat back due to more than foot of mud on concrete ramp

$5 parking. Park up on the hill after you drop off your boat. No additional fee for boat launch. Launch is not staffed by anyone. Bathrooms have running water.

Really beautiful natural bay, lush habitat for so many different types of critters! Loads of tasty hiking trails!

This is the main location were I launch my boat to fish Tomales Bay for Halibut. The mouth of the bay is great for Salmon when Salmon are running. For Halibut go to the back of the bay in about 12ft of water this is were I spearfish for California Halibut. I've bagged nice fish every time that I dive there.Visibility can be 20ft on a great day too zero on a heavy tide. A sandy rolling bottom is what you encounter. Expect Thresher Sharks , Leopard Sharks and Sting Rays. Not for beginners!
