Midgley Marine is the best mechanic in San Diego! 10/10 recommend! Mike got my boat running after 2 other mechanics gave up on my 1966 Bertram with Mercruiser engine. Mike expertly tracked down and fixed a variety of electrical and mechanical problems. He is extremely reliable, honest, and easy to communicate with. I will definitely be using him for future boat work!

I wish I could give 10 stars!! Words cannot express how amazing Mike is. We were at Dana landing where we spent the night in the parking lot to be out at first light. When we got the boat in the water on Saturday, July 4th weekend, the bait well was not pumping water. I started calling every boat mechanic in SD at 6am. The first person to call me back was Capt. Mike Midgley asking how he could help us. We were shocked. We told him the issue, he told us to grab a pump from West Marine and he would be over to take care of it. The professionalism, communication and work quality is so hard to find and Mike embodies all to the fullest. We were out back on the water in less than two hours! We hired Captain Midgely for an incredible charter trip out to Catalina. We motored 10 hours overnight from San Diego, and throughout the trip I was impressed by his professionalism and ability to troubleshooot mechanical and electrical systems onboard. Would definitely charter with him again

Hired Captain Midgley for several cruises in San Diego on two different boats. He was very knowledgeable of the area, very personable and accommodating. We had a great time anchoring in Glorietta Bay, docking for lunch at Bali Hai, and seeing the sights around San Diego Bay. Would absolutely recommend.
