Beautiful area great boats friendly boat people got invited on board for tour

We bought our sailboat a few months back and took over the slip here from the previous owner until we could bring her down south. The rates are reasonable, it is well sheltered, and the tide is only about 4" making for a really comfortable place to spend some time. The staff here is incredibly helpful and they go the extra mile. The dock master, Phil, and dockhand Ryan do a great job of keeping tabs on the boats and making themselves available for any help you need. They can provide recommendation for parts and services near by. They also went the extra mile when preparing for hurricane Milton earlier this year to ensure everyone was safe, secure, and had what they needed to be prepared for the storm. Getting a text the next day to let us know the boat was alright and everything in the marina looked good was really going the extra mile. I've seen previous reviews about the old dock master and poor service, but let me tell you the new team in place here is top notch and they genuinely care about providing a great experience. I'm going to miss having my boat here and would definitely stop in here again!

The staff is great! Ichabod's is great! The docks are well maintained. The reason for the 3 stars are the bathrooms especially the showers, lack of wi-fi and the lack of cable. The showers are dirty and need an update. Their website advertises wi-fi and cable but that is not true and false advertising. The wi-fi is Ichabod's not the marina's so the signal is weak. The location is amazing because it's near Historic Melbourne.

Phil was the most courteous and most helpful Dock-guy I have ever encountered. Fuel, pump out, into & out of our slip, couldnt have been a better experience. We walked into town, had Happy Hour at the Chart House, I could have stayed another 3 or 4 days but have to keep moving. We are on Mainship 39 "Knot Ready" doing the Loop.
