Mechanic Street Marina

After researching reviews of this marina, I felt confident purchasing a Groupon for 2 Kayak rentals from this merchant. My grandson tried to use it last weekend, but there no rentals available. However, he was assured a spot would be held for him this weekend. When he called the marina this morning , they advised there were no rentals left. This was only good on the weekends and expires 09/15/ 2020. Groupon advised the expiration date could not be extended due to the merchant’s restrictions. What a disappointment. Trying hard to deal with local businesses, this certainly makes us wary. I do plan on calling the marina. To other interested customers, just be aware. Update: 09/17/20 The merchant quickly reached out to me and offered to honor the Groupon rate, which I really appreciated. Will update once more after our Kayak adventure.

The owners here are absolutely beautiful inside and out. Great service. They have free parking at the side of the houseoffice. Make sure to make a reservation ahead of time. They do accept groupons for two hour kayak service here which me and my bf did and we had a blast. They have kayaks for tall and short people. Equipment was in great condition. Easy check in and check out. I highly recommend. I will definitely be back.

Easy to find, clean and friendly. We rented 2 kyacks for 2 hours. Enjoyed the location and Jay gave us great pointers of nice places to take pictures.

The owners are awesome, I will def be going back with my dtr. They care about their customers, Jay came looking for us when we didnt return on time.
