Marsh Creek at Scotts Hill Marina

My wife and I went for lunch in August 2024. It was a very pleasant visit, the sea food was delicious... numerous choices. The view is also one of the best. From their upstairs seating, the elevate view is magnificent. The wait staff was pleasant, prompt and well informed. We were very pleased and will return often.

Food is solid, but the views are way better. My favorite place to sip on a cocktail while watching the boats come in. And soak up some rays. Unassuming, not pretentious….totally chill.

Most likely the best food in Hampstead NC. Outside view is spectacular. But why why why did a carpenter decide the outdoor table height??? Outside tables are at least 5 inches too high for a standard chair. They should be 30 inches and they are not they are way too high. The food is delicious I have never had a bad cocktail or meal. Does this fantastic chef know they only use salad forks with every meal? They do not use regular size forks with a salad entree or any entree for that matter. IMO great food but everything else is out of scale.

Beautiful view. Good mimosas - you can customize! Super sweet staff. Food is... not so great. If you like calabash style, they have a platter that is ok. They also score some pretty decent apps. Go for the view and the drinks. They have a lovely patio on the ground floor with its own bar... but it's open at weird times.

In general we like the place and they are trying to get better. The location is perfect. The food is generally decent. The main issue is the menu between the upstairs and downstairs. You cannot take food from upstairs downstairs and visa versa. The menus are different but it's the same place. The waitstaff could be better and the seating on a busy day seems confusing because of how the place is divided. There is definitely room for improvement.
