He charges $400 to make a visit. And has no idea what would be wrong unless he looks at it. Honestly, I would question the service of any mechanic if they cant at least point out and explain the most common reasons for a possible failure of your mechanical equipment. I described to him that i have a 1988 yamaha waverunner 500. Its going 3-5 mph in the water. Changed the carburetor. Changed the head gasket. Compression check normal. He said the problem could be many things. He could not list 1 possible issue or a method or means he would go about troubleshooting. He simply said he would have to put his hands on it. He also doesnt give free advice. He also mentioned that he doesnt have the time to talk to me because his time os worth $200 per hour. I would say that he fails my interview for hiring a mechanic.

Kamil was super helpful coming to our boat on the water and saved us a one engine trip to have the boat pulled out of the water. Turnaround on getting the problem diagnosed and parts replaced was great. Would highly recommend!

He takes the time to properly diagnose the problem before pulling everything apart. I called at 8pm on Tuesday and he got me going the next morning, including making sure everything was up and running before I left the dock the following day.
