Read this if you’re a first time person. We just floated here this weekend. First we had. big group with a mixture of tubes and kayaks. We took took cars unloaded everything up here and took one car down and park it at the Tuzigoot spot. Since we were in tubes it took us almost 5 hours, of course stopping along the way. I think that’s why most people have kayaks you could probably do it in an 1:30. There are parts that the water does not have a strong current, you can chill or try to move yourself along. You can do the river with tubes but there are parts supper low and the water picks up. Just keep your butt up and hope for the best. I would only suggest roping up two tubes max. The current picks up you could have your tubes go
one way and another causing some issues. We went on a saturday, no one was there. It was easy to drop off and then get out of the river. This does not seem like a big party spot just chill and relax. The water was nice warm or refreshing depending on the spot. Also the town of clarkdale is pretty got some good wood-fire pizza up the road.

Absolutely beautiful place to relax and swim. Just be careful with the male river access people. They do not respect disabled people that don't look disabled even when they have proof they can use the handicapped parking spots. They will harass you trying to get a rise so they can call the cops on you. They are severely disrespectful and rude to anyone who doesn't "look" disabled enough. I was forced to leave because I was unable to get in the water for more than a few min before he would come back to my vehicle to say more things. The police couldn't do anything because I couldn't get a video for proof of what he was doing. Just sad when men abuse their little bit of power.

I love it here! There are so many access points for swimming/wading, and kyaking. There are picnic tables setup all over and plenty of shade! The spot we choose to use has a beach with easy water entry and a waist deep hole to swim in.
