These gentleman do amazing, timely work at a good price. They completed my hull repair in the time they said, costing less than the original estimate and kept me updated through the entire process. The quality of work is so good you can’t see where the issue was.

I bought a used boat and didn’t know that the bottom was in horrible shape, due to the bunk boards covering the flaws. I took it here and they repaired the bottom and installed a speed coat as an added protection. They did the work for a great price, and I got it back super quick. The boat looks like it has a brand new bottom. Highly recommend.

Crashed my boat under a boat dock. Had a hole in one side and got raked on the other side. Insurance totaled it when they got a ridiculous quote from a local fiberglass guy. I was pretty bummed, but then started researching other shops in the area. Lone Star really stood out to me because they were close to where my boat was getting mechanical repairs, veteran-owned and had really good reviews. So, I called Farrell (owner) and he said to bring it by and he would give me an immediate quote. Pulled my boat into the yard and Farrell came right out. The first thing he says is “Wow. This is a beautiful boat.” He checked out the damage, as well as the rest of the boat and then gave me a quote right on the spot. It was a THIRD of what the other guy wanted. Unbelievable! Not only that, but he would have it back to me in 2 weeks. During the next 2 weeks, Farrell sent me pics every few days to show the progress. Grinding, patching, sanding, painting and detail work. I really appreciated the constant communication and the finished product is amazing! I can’t tell where any of the damage was and more importantly, the boat looks new for being nearly 15 years old. Jokingly, I told Farrell that I hope to never see him again…but if I ever need fiberglass repairs again, I’m definitely coming back to see him at Lone Star. #SFMF

Extremely satisfied with the work Farrell Hill and his team at Lone Star Fiberglass performed on my boat. I took the boat in to have bottom repaired and cosmetic issues corrected and the attention to detail and final results far exceeded my expectations and the work was completed quicker than originally quoted. I am very satisfied with Farrell and his shops abilities to repair the Transom on my 1996 Ebbtide Dyna-trak 178 SS. When you have family and loved ones in a boat you need to know confidently that it is sound and strong. I now know that my boat will handle the Johnson 150 that is bolted to the back for years to come! This brand new transom they built for me looks like it just rolled out of the factory. Through the entire process of working with Lonestar Fiberglass and Gel Coat Repair I felt like I was family.
