Linn County Park & Marina Store

We’ve been staying at Linn County Park & Marina near La Cygne, Kansas, for a couple of weeks now in one of their RV sites, and we couldn’t be happier! The campground is tucked away just off US 69, making it a peaceful yet convenient spot to stay. It’s absolutely beautiful out here—lots of trees, wide open space, and plenty of wildlife. We’ve seen tons of geese and deer roaming freely, which adds to the tranquil, nature-filled experience. The ladies at the office have been so kind and helpful from the moment we arrived. Whether it’s answering questions or just offering a friendly smile, their hospitality really stands out. The park itself is very well-kept, with access to the marina and lake, which is a great bonus if you enjoy boating or fishing. We’re planning to stay a while longer but love that there’s flexibility in our stay. If you’re looking for a quiet and scenic RV park in Kansas, especially near La Cygne, this is a gem of a spot.

Love it here. We've been here a little over a month, and will be another couple of weeks. The scenery is gorgeous! Very pet friendly, April in the office and John, who also works here, are awesome! They have the convenience of self pay outside the office. The sites are good sized, snd they have a site for all levels of camping! We have a pull through site with water and electric fot $16/night. The water pressure in the shower is good, and we're here in November, and its so warm in the bathroom/showers. The laundry is convenient, but there are only 2 washers and 2 dryers, and they're $2 each. Its quiet, and on weekends with good weather, you can hear people around, but its still pretty quiet. Deer everyday. They're safe here. They have some stuff at the Marina, soda, charcoal, snacks, and some necessities, but Lacygne and Paola are a short drive away. Couldnt believe there was an ice cream truck that rolled through a couple of times! We'll absolutely stay here again! 😊

We loved this place. My son and I went for a short hike on the horse trails one afternoon and we had a blast. The ladies working at the marina were very helpful with getting us a map and showing us how to use the check in components. It’s an amazing facility and beautiful area. I am looking forward to getting to go back to camp.

Went here with scouts several times. We usually stayed in the enclosed shelter which is great as it can open up when warm and has a fireplace with a blower on it. This allows us to camp usually even if cold or rainy and we only have to deal with weather when sleeping. Due to CoVID we were limited to 35 and were in the North electric loop this time. This left us outdoors but that beats staying home. We had clean flush bathrooms that was the old pool house. We used the open shelter for eating and other activities with plenty of room to spread out. Scouts were able to do some fishing hiking and rocket launches though due to wind rocket recovery was pretty challenging. Staff was friendly and flexible. I brought my RV and plugged in. At checkin they were aware of power problems with the site I wanted so I used the next one with no issues. There are several nicer sites by the water with hook ups as well. There are several full timers in the park closer to the marina but seasonal campers are separated by a creek and tree line for the most part. Sites are clean and fire pits I saw in out loop were clean and mostly renewed. They have a heated restroom with laundry. Showering there I would do but my wife would not. Laundry is also available and fairly busy. There is a vehicle fee of $3 a day or $25 for the year as in addition to camping site fees here. Since it is a county park your state pass does not cover it. Site fees vary based on hook ups. It is mostly first come first serve and you need to call to see what is available. One note is this is across the water from the power plant. It will hum all night and there are occasional alarms that may wake you. I sleep with ear plugs so less of a problem for me even in a test.
