Len's Marina

Great place and friendly staff. This was my first time visiting with friends who go all the time. I was impressed. If you take your boat there to launch its straight access to the river with no long no wake travel.

Great little place! The owners are so nice and welcoming. Love that the dogs free roam and greet everyone. We've only had our boat for about a month but no complaints here+

Len’s Marina is a marina ran and operated by Len and his wife Shannon and their son Ty. They have a condo Air B-n-B on top of the store that is absolutely beautiful with a stunning view. The store downstairs has all your needs and wants to ensure you really don’t have to leave the island! Thank you so much Shannon, you are very accommodating! And thank you Len and Ty for setting up those bikes for us ! Awesome atmosphere very kind and welcome people! Thank you Len’s Marina !

This has to be one of the best run marinas in the country (I've been to different types of marinas in about 25 states). Every square inch of the property is perfectly utilized for a perfect variety of customers whether you live locally or you are visiting the area. The warm, welcoming, honest folks who run this marina deserve customers of commensurately high caliber. I will drive 2.5 hours each way on any day off that I have to use their boat ramp, exceptionally clean facility, & store. They have a variety of baits, ice in perfect 20lb blocks for fishing, ice cubes in 10 pound bags for refreshments, drinks, snacks, and much more I'm sure. So glad people cared enough for this business to leave good enough reviews and risk attracting more people to a hidden gem. Good luck trying to find a place like Len's to launch your boat. Just be mindful of the tides, respect others, be clean, and don't forget your drain plug. 🤙🏼

My friend Raymond's latest addiction is hunting for sea glass on the beaches of our Maryland shores. We were in Calvert County, MD most of Friday and came across a road sign that was begging to be part of my Goggle Reviews. It wasn't a deer or duck crossing sign, it was a sign that read 'Otter Xing'. Now, how often do you see that or even just an otter? I've never seen this sign before, but Raymond said he saw it about 20 years ago. So we parked in Len's Marina's entrance while I got out and took a few photos of the sign. After I got back in the car, Raymond pulled around back of the building to walk the beach looking for sea glass. I went inside Len's store to get a bottle of water. I walked in not knowing what to expect inside. Some marinas are old dilapidated and might have whiskey and beer bottles rolling around on the floor. However, that's not the story here at Len's Marina. I stepped into a very clean, well stocked conveyance shop with a very attractive young lady at the register. Turns out the young lady's moniker is 'Trina from the Marina'. After I told her what Raymond and I were doing, I mentioned the otter sign and she said, "You know, I've never seen an otter cross there". I laughed, she laughed so we laughed, then I took some photos and left wondering, then where do the otters cross. Oh, and I forgot the water! By the time I got back to the car, Raymond was sleeping. That's how friendly and enjoyable Trina was. They probably couldn't fit another boat on the property (I'm sure they could}, but they have a ramp with reasonable rates. So if you go to Len's Marina you get to store your boat, ramp it, look for sea glass and talk to the lovely Trina from the Marina. A five star adventure all day long.
