Larry's Marine

I had some problems with the price and the quality of work. He worked on my boat 3 times as I recall, and I thought the price was high for the simple work he did. Last time I was there he went to start up the motor and blew up all the wiring. He then charged 4-$500 for new wiring, harness etc. He said the wiring wasn't grounded properly, causing the problem. Baloney...the wiring was always just fine (for over 15 years)...The most likely cause of the wiring problem is that there is a slope where he told me to park the boat, the front of the boat faced downhill and the boat could not drain....I am sure the front of the boat was full of water and the front battery and onboard charger were totally submerged, and he never bothered to drain the boat before working on it. Very careless of him. The wiring harness and wiring were totally destroyed. After that, of course, I never went back to Larry's Marine. Sorry, Larry. You probably forgot about this, but I didn't!

Larry provided fast, accurate fix to my 90hp Mercury motor at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend.

Larry fixed two of my boats. Both were done in a timely manner and at a good price. He knows what he’s doing and I don’t know what the other reviews are about regarding responsiveness/communication but Larry called me multiple times to let me know exactly what was wrong with my boats and what the repairs would cost. I would 100% recommend anyone to Larry above any other mechanic in the area.

Larry is awesome knowledgeable and very reasonably priced. He's quick and prices are quite low compared to other small engine places. My motor runs great and I take it to him anytime I have an issue.
