Konocti Marine Repair

Very knowledgeable! Got me up and running in a couple days, gave me some advice to help keep my motor running and answered all my questions. 4 stars only because the boat was stored outside and got quite dusty. Bring a cover if you have one and are expecting a longer project.

These guys saved the day for us! We were up at Clearlake for the Won bass fishing tournament. Our foot control for trolling motor failed. Called several repair shops no one could help us. When I called Konocti Marine repair they were so nice!! Said "bring it by let's see what we can do" They jumped right on it when we got there. Did not have the part to replace. But the mechanic figured out what it was doing wrong and was able to make a fix that worked for my son to finish the tournament. Foot control worked perfect. Gave us the name of the part we needed to order and a contact to get it ordered for a permanent fix down the road! I can not thank them enough for their time and engineering to make it work and save the tournament. Fair price charged for the time he spent working on the boat. 10 of 10 for sure!!

Cliff has always been straightforward with me. He has talked me out of making some unnecessary purchases for my motor. In the end he took over with my project and cleaned up my mistakes. Do it yourself only goes so far in a technical situation. I have learned that the hard way. Trust that cliff will always be real with you. He has nothing to gain from lying to you. I have nothing but respect for this man.

He said six hours for the job. After 1 day shy of 5 weeks I took the boat to an actual marine mechanic. The fuel lines were completely wrong. After he told me it was right. Terrible experience I've had a boat for 50 years of my life dealtwith lot's of shops. Wouldn't recommend this shop for anything
