Knife River Marina

It was very neat to see a lot of the boats being stored up for the winter. Can't wait to see the marina full of boats in the spring!

I went to the marina to look for lake Superior agates. Unfortunately if you're only going knee high , The beach is pretty picked over and nothing much of agates are left.. but on the contrary the water is beautifully clear and the people are very friendly. I met news friend's and livekê

This is a protected little cove with a coarse sandy beach that is great for hanging out, beach games and swimming. There is a lot of driftwood and we found a stick our pup couldn't resist chasing into the water. Over and over.

Really nice noat launch. We didn't do very good fishing. We tried jigging, using night crawlers, trolling spoons but wasnt out day.

Beautiful rock beaches great for agate hunting and putting your feet in the brisk water. Quieter than other beaches on the North Shore and still a stones throw from everything. The hosts of our rental cabin highly recommended this beach otherwise we wouldn't have found it. I would recommend the bug spray though if the wind as died down, because the horse flies come out in full force.
