Kent Narrows Landing

Great ramp but don't use it anymore.. why not, well one day a few years ago my kids an i put the jon boat in here and later came back with serious engine trouble. we were barely limping in and struggling through the current. We made it through the bridge and were bombarded with sinkers and fishing line from the bank as we struggled against the current. Some rigs landed in the boat. I cut about 6 or 8 lines so the hooks didn't drag through the boat because some did and some hooked life jackets and cushions. The people casting them who barely spoke English swarmed us at the ramp and demanded their gear back or money nearly starting a fight until some other boaters and a baseball bat showed up. My propeller had string galore wrapped up in it. 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥 A different time we were out in our bigger boat and towed a family in that had broke down. Nearly had the same thing happen with the bank fisherman but not as bad because i learned some spanglish i was yelling IN SPANISH to clear your lines or I'm cutting them limpia tus líneas o las estoy cortando

Great boat ramps with a lot of room for navigating your boat trailer. There is generally plenty of parking for your truck and trailer after launching your boat. The current can be really tricky getting into the docks/ ramp area to retrieve your boat so be careful and alert.

Great place in the shade for a tailgate lunch. Many boats of all sizes making way through the narrows. Very protected landing for putting in pretty much any size boat.

Beautiful place to learn about the Chesapeake. Nice walking path. I believe the launch ramp is for marine police only.

Great scenery. There is a trail out to the water, a tourist center and dog walk.
