I have been to several local Kansas River boat ramps, and this particular boat ramp is not quite as of a nice place as the Belvue ramp area. This place is simply a gravel parking lot and a ramp into the river. No picnic tables or anything. Not even a historical sign as at the Wamego ramp.

The city of Manhattan doesn't allow camping of any sorts, here(not even within its jurisdiction). Infact there is no camping or night access- at any of it's "parks" in Manhattan.
