DO NOT TRUST! Dropped my boat off to get inspected for a lower unit replacement due to running over a rock. Started the boat fine a hour before taking it in. I live 15 minutes away by the time I got home, they called me saying it’s a possible break in my engine block. Went back immediately to pick it up & two hoses that were connected before I dropped it off were now ripped off from the motor. Saying it happened from ice, but it was not like that 20 mins before I just left it. Then charged me $95 for that 3 minute assessment to get my boat back. Never discussed any fees upfront, not very transparent. ( mentioned that the money could go towards repairs after paying to get my boat back)

Terrible experience with K&M! Took my new to me boat there a few months ago to have it checked over and install a new starter solenoid and live well pump. First time putting the boat in the water, I turn the live well pump on and water started filling up in the back of the boat. They installed the new pump but never hooked the hose up to it because it wasn't even long enough to reach the pump, and they also left a total bird's-nest of wiring back there. Moving forward, I continue to have issues starting the motor so I go to a different marina to have it looked over again and come to find out the starter solenoid K&M installed is not the right one for my motor and also the regulator rectifier was bad. I was charged $528 and over $400 was just in labor. The only thing I got out of this experience was a new live well pump but it wasn't even hooked up and I paid to have a wrong starter solenoid installed. BEWARE!!

Very knowledgeable staff,quick service fair prices Will definitely use them in the future. They also have great winterization service as well as wrapping services I never have any issues come spring when I drop her in the water because they do it right..Thanks K&M
