Jenny Wiley State Park Marina

Now this is the best place too spend time with family and friends all my life I spend time here, many times in the sun and when it's Cold just below the dam striped bass caught a whole hell of Alot of fish some monster cat's caught 47 pound cat fish let him go it look so old and it had white spot's on it ,' could you imagine something that big there has to be bigger one's than that in there I and a old friend his not with us anymore we never missed a weekend in the Summer we were Always dipping in the lake meet alot of people there alot of Great time's all around this lake you really don't Know what is in them there woods over there at Just before dark I have to tell you you dont want to be caught in them there woods after dark cause you Know there this legend of the Eastern Kentucky boogeryman lives in them there woods and late late at night they say you can hear him ( screaming) and you best bet you better have a flashlight and you better run cause he can run fast I know cause I was in them there woods with him And it's not a Good thing beinging im them there woods after dark (hollowing) it almost makes your skin crawl And don't think your safe on one them there House boat's I could of sweared he swim across the lake hearing them tree's crashing and then a splash I heard him breathing swimming in the dark with a little growl too soon hear something on the other side of the lake water dripping the tree's crashing again I don't know ive never seen no damn bigfoot before there's this tail that there's a eastern Kentucky boogeryman he lives in them there woods, make sure you lock your door and window's cause they say he's human like yin's better believe there's really something out there in them there woods!

Can't rent a pontoon while you are there unless you book months in advance. Lodge was nice and food was decent and priced accordingly. Pool was very dated and not much deeper than 4 feet. Rooms were dated but clean and bug free.

You have to go to this state park it is beautiful. They have cabins or rooms. It's amazing. There are so many things to do in Kentucky. I love flea markets and they're several close to here. I love going to Goodwill's and there are some close to here to. Loretta Lynn's home place and so much more.

Friendly and very helpful staff are able to guide even beginners on kayak or pontoon boat rentals. $160 for full day on pontoon boat - up to 10 people. $25 for kayaks, same rate for single or 2 person. Beautiful, calm well-marked lake all adds up to a perfect outing.

Lake is calm and peaceful, good fishing and great for water sports.
