JDA Marine Inc. Boat Repair

Del saw a post I made on FB about an issue I was having with my Mariner Mag 200 EFI and offered his phone number to discuss. I called and within a few short minutes he put me on the path to finding the problem. I’m 500 miles away so taking it to him isn’t an option. He basically provided a free service that only took him a few minutes to figure out, versus my dealer that had my boat a month, made a non related repair and charged me $750. Del is a straight shooter and knows his stuff. I’ve been around and owned performance boats all my life. So my endorsement has credentials. You can and should use JDA Marine for all your boating and service needs. Peace.

I brought my boat into JDA marine after another shop couldn't diagnose the problem. Dell examined the problem, quickly diagnosed it and completed the repairs in quick fashion at a reasonable price. When I got the boat back, it was in top shape and performed better than expected. Close to Lake Lanier for convenience. I highly recommend Dell and his team for ANY repair issues big or small.

Do not bring your boat here.. They kept our boat for 5 weeks for us to get it back still not fixed. We had to call repeatedly to receive updates as they will not contact you to update you on their progress. We were told our original issue was our carburetor. However, our motor is fuel injected and doesn't even have a carburetor(Had they actually looked, they would've known that). We were also told our spark plugs were fine, when they were never checked. We ended up having to take our boat to a different marina for repairs just to find out the spark plugs were the issue all along.

This company is a total rip off. I took my pontoon there to be refurbished, and they quoted me $12,000 to $14,000, so I agreed. Then it started to creep up and nine months later it cost me $23,000. The pontoon net worth is about $15,000. Del the owner is shady and difficult to work with.

I had to have my faulty outdated trim/tilt pump replace. I was informed by Dale (I think that is his name!) that it would be better to put a “jack plate” on instead. I was skeptical but was informed by the shop manager that it would give me the better out come in the long run. Well, it took a lot longer to get my boat back because of back order issues. But when I was able to get back on the water my trim worked better than ever. The manager comes across a little hard and straight forward but he knows his job and cares about making sure the job is done right. He made sure I was happy with their work. I recommend JDA Marine to anyone.
