Island City Harbor

My husband and I stayed the weekend for our anniversary. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night. It was our first experience staying in a boathouse and it was fun! Kelly is so personable she treats you as if you are part of her family. Dave is so full of knowledge and and is always willing to lend a hand. We had an issue after the office closed but Kelly was on it within 3 minutes! We are making plans to come back next year with the whole family! Highly recommend!!!

It’s a wonderful place that has so much to offer to its visitors. Such extremely helpful and friendly staff. We loved the fully stocked brochures and information in the visitors center there as well.

Picturesque, unique Mississippi River getaway, staying on a houseboat in the harbor. Jesse and Kelly were excellent hosts, and the decor on the boat was delightful. Sabula is a great place to walk along the river and appreciate early 20th century architecture. The harbor store had it all, from gifts to clothing, purses and bait for fishing. Renting a pontoon is a "must do" if you want to see the Mississippi first hand. Dave at the gas dock was wonderful. I will be going back!

Love it!! We stayed in one of the houseboats and enjoyed beautiful scenery, birds, wildlife, and fishing right off the deck. What a great place to reconnect, find peace, and enjoy company. Great hosts make this stop a must! The place is cute and has all the amenities to make it feel like home.

This place is our new getaway for relaxing and taking in the scenery. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and all of our needs are accommodated. We like preparing most of our meals while vacationing and the well equipped kitchens have everything we need. Use of kayaks on the neighboring lake is a particularly nice bonus. All in all, we love it here.
