These guys are the best boat shop in Lake Havasu! They were recommended by a longtime friend who lives near me. Robert at the marine store was so helpful and nice. We had a boat that wouldn’t start and they jumped right on it and figured out the issue (faulty switch) in a few minutes and had us back out on the water in no time. If you’re ever in need of a boat repair here in Lake Havasu City, give Iguana Marine a call or stop by. You won’t be disappointed and pleasantly surprised with how friendly they are.

These dudes suck. Because I was trying to support a Veteran owned business my boat and family ultimately paid the price. Lost days on the water and unnecessary headaches. A annual service with an appointment will take about 48 hours. After completion expect issues with oil leaks, ground issues, or over tightening filters. Iguana also installed some “off shore” controls and installed it at an angle and super stiff. I was unable to start since neutral is hard to find. I had them check it and they blamed me. They advertise Veteran discount instead just added 10% to overall cost and then subtracted the 10%. Basically no discount. I took my boat back to Cobra and they corrected all issues and showed me all the Mickey Mouse work they did.

My aunt took her boat in for some basic repairs. The repairs weren’t completed correctly and required another shop to complete the work. The second shop fixed the issue quickly with very little cost and informed my aunt she was overcharged for work not required to fix the problem. When confronted the employee at the shop became aggressive and threatened my aunt, legal action is unfortunately her only recourse now. Needless to say they won’t be returning, and wouldn’t recommend anyone else use this company’s services.

I was on the phone with my mother and father when the owner of this business came out yelling and assaulted my father, just for showing up to pick up his boat after they were 4 weeks late on repairs. They missed deadline after deadline, and then you have the audacity to physically attack somebody because you're incompetent. Not only this but they attempted to commit insurance fraud with our insurance provider who caught this business trying to bill insurance for $2500 in repairs that we paid cash up front

Beware everyone - After my boat was caught out in the weather on 7/31/23 and flooded on the shore we required a local mechanic to fix her up. She needed all new electrical and carpet. Later the floor needed replacement as well. I chose Robert & Iguana Marine for their stellar reviews. Unfortunately, I now must turn to the review process for another reason. Robert has had my boat for 15 months now and it is sitting in his hot storage, untouched in months. Around November of 2023 Robert stopped replying to my text messages and phone calls. Through other approved work he has managed to collect $7500 of the original $8000 agreed upon price. He has also supposedly lost another $4000 down payment to a shady upholstery company who failed to do the job. I do stop in there every time we spend a weekend in Havasu and I get the standard "6 more weeks" or "1 more week" or "8 weeks" but nothing ever changes. The facts are, He is not communicating with me, he has collected way to much of the money, our boat has been in storage across the street for months and zero progress is being made to complete it. It's starting to look like I made a $12k mistake. This will be a review with updates when I get them so future clients will know how often they communicate with me after this. 10/31/24 - 2 week update - not a word from this company since my review.
