I had a problem with one of my 2 Man diesel engines on a trip home (to Occoquan VA) from Lewes DE. Having exhausted my efforts to resolve the issue, I called Hild’s expecting to leave a message and perhaps hear back the next day. I planned to motor home on a single engine in the interim. Ben answered the phone and walked me through the steps to fix my problem. He knew exactly what I needed to do, and it worked like a charm. I resumed my trip and made it safely home with no further problems. Big marine engines are complex and finding service is hard. If it was easy, there would be more people doing it and it would be like Jiffy Lube, one on every corner. These guys have the knowledge and experience to service, maintain, and troubleshoot some of the most complex marine engines out there today. Too bad there aren't more Hilds around so they could get to all of their customers quicker. For me, it's worth the wait to know it's going to be done right.
