Hampstead Marina Inc

On July 4, 2024 we ran into boat problems. We flagged down a Good Samaritan and made the decision to tow our boat to Hampstead Marina in the hope that we could get out of the intercostal boat traffic and remain in a relative safe place while waiting for SeaTow. We were met by the marina manager and to our surprise were requested to leave. We explained that our boat was having issues and SeaTow was on its way. He was adamant that we were trespassing and could not even cross the lot to request an Uber and get our 8 year old granddaughter out of the 100 degree sun. SeaTow eventually made it to the marina and got us out. This was one of the very few times in my life where someone displayed zero empathy for what was clearly an emergency and safety situation. If roles were reversed, I would have done everything within my means to help and provide comfort to a family who was obviously distressed. I didn’t catch the manager’s name but I will never forget his face. I would imagine he treats clients just as poorly as a stranger in a tight situation. I still don’t understand the reasoning (or lack of reasoning) the manager displayed. If you are reading this review, please keep one person’s brief Hampstead Marina encounter in mind when deciding on whether this is the right place to do business.

There were no overall issues at the marina. We went for a boys' weekend of fishing and hanging out. Found the access to be open and easily accessible.

Family owned, gated, reasonable prices, clean...not your typical Marina they don't put up with non sense very family oriented and respectful. I mean come on look at the views from there... Breathtaking!! Doesn't matter if it's sunrise or full moon can't find a better place in the area to put your boat over at.

very calm waters, clean, special area for family with small children, very soft waves

Nice place. Need a yearly membership to have access to the boat ramp. Which last I checked there was a wait list, and it's so long they aren't taking anymore names for it. They sell wet slips, but i domt know if any are available. Need more like to get access to water.
