When the oil cooler on my transmission recently blew not only did I need it replaced but I was concerned the transmission might have been damaged. When I called the people that had been doing all my maintenance for years I was told they MIGHT be able to get to me three to four weeks. Several friends highly recommended Paul Hallam. When I called Paul he was patient, responsive and committed to coming out to my boat within a week. He called me once on the boat to explain the situation and patiently answered all of my questions. When I visited the boat after Paul did his work it was spotless and there was not a single sign that anyone ever was on it except for the completed repairs. Paul even reached out to me a day later to see if the transmission was operating properly. I think it is unrealistic to expect Paul to always be available within a week ( little luck was on my side ) but I do know he will be skilled, honest and upfront with you and in my opinion he is worth waiting for . I plan on using Hallams Marine for all my future service work. Carl from Wickford
