Great Herring is a very nice place but as others have said the ramp leaves a lot to be desired. There are really only 5 or 6 parking spots for a truck & trailer. The lot & ramp are very narrow & if you don't get there very early you will be looking for somewhere else to put in. The ramp is shallow so plan on getting wet to load & unload, a 4WD truck is your best bet if you want to float it off. Do not park out of the lot you will get ticketed.

Screw this boat ramp. Wicked sandy barely any parking. If you don't get a spot by 8 am on weekend dont bother going.

No Parking. Police Ticket vehicles. No swimming. Drunk and belligerent operators operating dangerously close to launch who almost hit my kids. A kid drowned there recently and there is a shrine posted.
