Gravelly Point Boat Ramp

Used to be a fantastic place to watch planes fly out of DCA. Since the reason plane crash gravity point is generally overrun with police presence nowadays.

Always a pleasure watching planned , runner and birds sweeping by the Airport ramp. Children would be amazed to see the La ding zone .

Located just outside DCA airport, An ideal place to bring kids who will be mesmerized watching planes take off and land right overhead. The views are incredible, and the experience of seeing planes so close is thrilling. There’s plenty of open space, making it perfect for a picnic, a game of catch, or just relaxing while the planes provide a unique show. Parking can be a bit tricky, and the area does get crowded, especially on weekends, so it’s best to plan accordingly. But the experience is well worth it – few places offer this kind of up-close view of aircraft in action. It is truly a hidden gem for a memorable family outing!

There is no enforcement here due to the lack in of park resources. And people park right in the trail car will try run you over as you cross on trails
