I've winterized my boat with "Hitman" for two winters now. The first winter, my boat didn't get pulled out of storage until after the second week in June and then it took them over a month to put on a motor I bought from them for $6,500. I didn't get my boat with new motor until 1/2 of the summer was over. This year, it's now two weeks into June, and again, my boat hasn't been taken out of storage. This place is an organizational mess. Steer clear, the owner lacks any customer service skills. After repeatedly asking about where my boat was and having to threaten to call the cops, I finally got an update... Only to be threatened by the owner ... "Better be real careful." Hitman is truly unhinged. Update: is now July 22 and finally got an update in my boat and threatened from "Hitman" that he would suit me for slander. Such a great guy.

I had my boat winterized here last winter. This is the first time I had my motor winterized here. I took it out for the first time and it was sluggish and sputtering. My motor has never done this before. So I called the guy who runs the place. He goes by the name "Hitman". He never answers his phone and you have to leave a vm. Then when he does get back to you it's by text message and he doesn't even care or is concerned about your issue. I texted him back and asked him if he could look up my account and let me know what they did and he didn't even have the information available. I was pretty much left on my own. This is the WORST customer service that I have ever experienced! Do not take your boat there for any reason! They are really unorganized and unprofessional! I will never take my boat there again!

I’m a little late in writing this, but I want to ensure that I have not forgotten the high-level of service and professionalism I received from Goose Lake Marine in regards to pulling our boat out of the river and storage. In particular, I want to thank Bill (Hitman) Heitmann for going above and beyond with his assistance. This past October, he assisted us in pulling our boat out of the St. Croix late in the season after there had been an appreciable accumulation of snow and very cold temperatures. Even though his company was inundated with requests from people frantically trying to get their boats out of the water for the season, Bill took the time to make sure it was done safely and with care for our boat. After the boat was safely out of the water, he stayed behind to assist in transferring the contents of the boat to my truck without asking. I was very impressed with the service and professionalism of this company and highly recommend them. Erik

It's hard to find people who still work on older boats. I have a 30 yr old Forester with an i/o. I have been taking it to these guys for repairs and winterizing for the past 8 to 10 years. They do good work at reasonable cost, and get it done when promised. 👍👍😃

Called these guys when I moved to the area about boat storage and winterizing. They were accommodating, friendly, and offered the most value versus their competition. Since then I have hired them to install new boat flooring as well as some other mechanical work.I have been consistently impressed with their customer service as well as their pricing. I highly recommend these guys!
