If you want REAL advice, and an education about fixing or maintaining your boat….. go to a real marina where there is a shop with good techs. I’ve found that those big corporate “Marine” stores know as much about boats as doctors know about doing an engine swap. I’ve finally found a good marina that listens to you and offers professional advice…. and won’t just sell you a bunch of parts. Good Luck is now my go to marina.

The staff here really know what they are doing and are very welcoming. The bath house is wonderful and kept very clean. I would say that because of where the refueling is that patient can really cause a problem due to the narrow marina entrance it is located at. Also would note that on a busy day on the bay it's a little hairy trying to get here if you have anything less than a large boat.

Absolutely First Class, great experience. They took me right away, quickly diagnosed the problem and called me to discuss the costs of repair. Additionally they found a couple of other items and took care of them as well. The cost was fair and to keep the cost down, they suggested a rebuilt part instead of a new one which I gladly accepted. The boat was fixed within one day and cleaned up. The mechanic took the time to review what was done, showed me the bad parts, walked me to the boat and then went over what I should look for to avoid any future problems. This was really great, they took me on a Saturday and returned my boat Sunday morning. I've been boating my entire life and have never had such a good experience. My boat now runs great, starts quickly which it never did and even sounds better. I saw that there was a negative review as well and let me tell you, I don't know if the previous reviewer was at the same marina. I will be keeping my boat there over winters and Good Luck Pt will be my only service location.
