Great place to launch a boat big or small . Can't wait to come back here in summer and kayak.

I personally really enjoy launching my kayak here! There are multiple spots to put in kayaks for a few different sections of water, and aside from the motor boats on the Multnomah channel side, the waterways are very quaint and flourishing with wildlife around here. Another major downside to this area is the non-stop state trooper presence. They aren't helpful and are simply there to hit quotas and be intimidating it seems like..

We went kayaking on the Gilbert, and it was beautiful back in where there isn't anyone but yourself, your love that you went with, and the birds in the trees. It was an excellent way to spend our 28th anniversary ❤️ Highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. The nature there is just breathtaking. The water was mostly calm. It gives you a very relaxing atmosphere. There was not a soul around us as we kayaked. Only back at the boat dock. Great place to make a memory. Excellent sunsets to finish off the day.
