Beautiful lake, picturesque on most days! There have been times that the water is a bit murky and somewhat gross with a green film and floating objects that are difficult to identify, but that’s why you don’t swim in it. If you are planning to take photos or go boating or kayaking, it is a perfect lake to have a relaxing day on.

Peaceful and serene.. A good place to decompress on a lunch break or just to pull off the side of the road during traveling. It's small but relaxing.

Garrisons Lake new boat ramp is an excellent place to launch a boat.
The fishing at the lake is a tough bite. However, the lake holds a lot of big fish. Snakehead and bass are a great fish to target at this lake.
Enjoy the fishery and keep it clean!

Easy access, nice ramp.
Lake stinks . . . Only 3ft deep and always murky. Surprisingly there are big bass in this lake. Also Crappy, catfish and brim. Cool to watch the bald eagles that live in the area. Only three stars because I like clean lakes. I always bring a garbage bag to clean up after the slobs that leave their trash.
