Galesville Wharf

Great place to launch kayaks, sup. Soft beach launch and pier. Its next to pirates cove restaurant and when they are busy, customers take spots from wharf.

The wharf is so beautiful. It is located in a quiet community. There are two restaurants nearby. I go here to Crab. There are really nice crabs here.

My Father’s family’s American origins are from Galesville. There’s a super emotional feel when I come here. I feel connected and at home. It’s so peaceful and beautiful. The park has been built up over the years and it looks great. There’s soooo much history in Galesville.

Great little walkable town with a really nice wharf. We caught the Wednesday afternoon sailboat race on our way to dinner. Also the town was doin maintenance and new signage for the little park at the end of the pier. A very nice feature in the town.

Four hour limit for docking and no overnights. No one bothered me for being there overnight. There's a sailboat tied up on one side it maybe abandoned or just really needing a bath. There's some benches and picnic tables and appears to have power on the pole by the table. There is a mooring field you have to go through to get to the pier. There are also a few ⚓ anchorages in the area that are very nice. There are a couple restaurants, beverage store and a gas station a short walk away.
