Gales Ferry Marina

I have been getting parts and supplies for my df250 for over 10 years from gales ferry marina , John always gives me advice on what to change and what tools needed. He even gives me a parts diagram , and tool list needed , That is above and beyond from any other dealers I have been to , I would definitely recommend gales ferry marina to anyone needing boat work done , Thanks again.

Just had a new Suzuki repower on my boat. John and his crew did great job. Cleaned up my electrical and had it all done in 3 days. I recommend going to this marina for all your boating needs

Not a bad place to slip your boat overnight however as far as mechanics go, some of the worst I have ever encountered. Overpriced and under skilled. My boat had 3 distinct problems, received a huge bill and none of them were fixed.

I went there for a re-power was not impressed with the quality of their services. I lost my whole boat season. The owner told me to deliver my boat by March with a three-day turnaround. I received my boat in late July was given various excuses. I stopped by unannounced a couple of times only to find them working on other boats instead. Let me not forget to mention that I purchased my outboard back in December, so they already had possession of the outboard. I was never given the proper break-in tutorial for my outboard. Lastly, when the owner told me to pick up my boat, the owner never greeted me or checked in on my purchase or progress. In addition, they installed the wrong gauges and then voiced they were on backorder. I ended up securing the gauges within two days and had installed them elsewhere. I will never do business there again. Ownership to young and does not value customer service. Update: just recently I was having my outboard serviced at another certified Suzuki dealer only to discover that the outboard purchased was not the fly-by-wire that was offered to me at the time of purchased. I contacted Suzuki to file a complaint. I emailed Gales Ferry to further confirm what was reported. Still no response.

I dealt with John and Judy. I have never met a better group of people in the industry. John is a perfect example of people friendly and a job well done kind of guy. He installed new motors on my boat and gave me exceptional everything . Thanks so much! I wouldn’t recommend anybody else but you! Dan Marchese Extremely happy customer!
