Gadsdenville Boat Landing

The more you like mud the more you will like this place. The entire way to the island is mud at low tide. Wouldn’t bring any type of a boat here. Good for kayaking at high tide 👍

Great spot to catch the milky way due to low lighting.

Nice and quiet here, not too many cars at the landing and it's a peaceful place to kayak. As many have mentioned don't go during low tide.

Nice little landing, great for canoes, kayaks and similar. Pros: small landing keeps most power boats away. Great area to fish, great views and plenty of creeks to explore. Most outstanding to capers island. Cons: this landing is DRY 1 hour either side of low, sometimes sooner depending on tide. If you miss the tide, prepare to get muddy. There have been stories of cars broken into overnight, but you get that at most landings. Overall 4/5 stars.

"Boat ramp" is a bit of a misnomer, as it's actually more of a mud and gravel road that ends in the water. However it's a perfect place to put in for a kayak or paddle board. You could spend days exploring the gorgeous winding marsh creeks.
