Best spot near the Rez for for some of the best sunsets. Easy to launch kayaks from this spot.

Great place to fish or launch your boat. Nice clean bathroom. Has a pavilion for get togethers. Recommended.

If you are on the eastern shore of the Main Lake, this is a convenient put-in point for boats to access the Main Lake, Pelahatchie Bay, or even Up-River. Plenty of parking. Two ramps with corresponding side piers for ease of access, and descent bathroom/picnic facilities. Even if you are not a boater, it's a good place to park for a nice bike ride or walk down the paved walking trail. Additionally, it is one of the best spots to take in a full-on sunset over the REZ. Just pull in to the parking lot before dusk and enjoy the show.

Check out my Google 360 VR Street View. Great ramp to launch the boat and take a quick visit to the new Shaggy’s By The Rez restaurant since the east side Pelahatchie Bay is closed for the winter. A little challenging to dock near Shaggy but it is possible to anchor near it. Must return by 7:00 PM
