Good parking, easy access. It was very shallow when we tried to start upstream with a two-person kayak. We had a good trip downstream, then a challenging route back to start.

Great for pick up or launch of boats, kayaks and canoes. This is not a beach/picnic spot. Its for loading and unloading of boats, kayaks and canoes...
It is not a swimming spot.

Make sure you wear protective clothing!
The size of the cottonmouths are insane!!! Watch where you swim/walk/stand they love the water, and are so used to people that they don't mind approaching you

Write ups that I have from NJDEP document recommend 4x4. I think that is excessive. There were several cars and minivans dropping off boats. I agree that large boats would not be ideal here.
