Dow boat ramp

Very rough roads to get to it! Not advised for anyone with walking issues, very rough terrain. Not a bad place to fish, though. In less than 1 hour, 3 fish caught, 1 crappie & 2 large mouth bass.

Didn’t catch anything but nice little spot away from everyone and outta the wind

A little rough road to get there, but easy access to handle our double person kayak. It is conveniently located if you want to paddle to the Arkansas River to the west. Keep to the south as you get to the animal sanctuary area which is about 4 miles from the launch. Also spied some ruins on the southern edge of the rocks as we were returning to the launch. No facilities at the launch area so plan ahead.

Plenty of parking for lightly used ramp. Hand Launch Only... no trailer access. Cary canoe or kayak down 100' ramp past weeds, trees, rocks, etc. Ramp is corrugated concrete aprox 14' wide extending from parking lot elevation to far below water line. Pics are from just north of ramp. Ramp is west side of a bay on north shore of reservoir. Several little coves around bay shore.
