Not sure who runs the place anymore I know back in the 70s and 80s James Beck ran it I was a teenager and I would clean up the lot and dog cages my Dad Jimmy Dolan would work on some of the boats and older motors my basic 1st job that started me paying my taxes anyway good to see no change to the name

Dekalb marine is a great family owned business that does quality work at a fair price. I have had at least 3 boats serviced here including, an I/O and 2 outboard boats. They do what the say and the work is good and timely. They are great at customer service and they really know their business and do quality repairs. As long as they are around, they will be who I want to service my boat and do any required engine repairs. They are excellent when it comes to vintage outboards and 2 strokes. I would say they are best with this in the South east.

PJ and Andrew are very courteous professional and knowledgeable about products and services. I have been using their services for the last several years. Work has been completed on my boat and trailer in a timely. I recommend them highly. Thomas makes it easy to hitch and unhitch the trailer to start the process and pick up. Prices are more reasonable than other places I compared. Their work is always excellent. I like the way I am treated and their work done on both trailer and boat.

Big shout out to the great team at Dekalb Marnie Inc. for identifying and fixing the issue with my outboard motor on my 1992 Ranger Bass Boat. Andrew and his team during my initial visit, provided me with great customer service and immediately ensured me that they would fix the issue. After a few days, Andrew called me and told me the cost, what parts were needed, and how long it would take to get my motor up and running. Less than a week, they fixed my motor, and it sounds great! Thank you Dekalb Marine Inc. for taking good care of my outboard motor issue. You guys are very affordable and do great service! Definitely will recommend to others that are having outboard motor or boat issues to you! Thank you again!

I have had a few boat motors throughout the years and all have been serviced by Dekalb Marine. Just dropped my latest boat off for service, planning to fishing this winter, it's gotta be right. They do excelent work in a timely manner an at great prices. I don't let anyone else work on my motors.
