Best customer service ive ever experienced, knowledgeable with a want to help, that goes beyond the majority of others.
At 1:30 PM on a Saturday, day before i had a tournament, i realized a very important bolt almost sheared. I rushed trying to find a marine shop with the bolt in stock.
I had spoke with 4 marine shops in the area before i called this one. All 4 were zero help and seemed like they didnt want to. Wouldnt cross reference the number, didnt research any specs or current issues in the industry. Out of stock or cant help, eager to end the call.
From the moment i called this company, it seemed like it was their job to do anything they could to get me on the water. Far above my expectations for a phone call from a stranger.
Found kits, equivalents, gave repair info, recommendations of others that could have it in stock. Talked about the repair process backed by vast knowledge in the marine industry. This was all 10 to 20 mins before close, on a Saturday.
Got called back, they found it, opened. Told me the bolt would be outside waiting due to closing, said dont worry about it and goodluck! Shocked.
If that wasnt enough, then said they'd help me if i brought it by the shop if things went wrong. They even checked back to make sure i got myself going.
Dont know if it could have been any better. They take the stress away from your boat being damaged. Id recommend this bussiness to anyone.

Been going to Dallas Boat Service ever since Texas Mastercraft was bought by a new owner and *literally* tripled their price for winterization. Dallas Boat Service has done a great job (at a fair price) on routine maintenance like winterization, oil change, trailer repair, and significant boat repairs. I also found out they really stand behind their work. When I had a leak in my exhaust, they gave me a cheaper option to have it repaired instead of replaced with a lifetime warranty. The repair ended up failing because an internal baffle in the muffler came loose and was banging holes in the exhaust. Without me asking, Dallas Boat Service offered to install a new exhaust if I just paid the difference between what I paid for the repair and what I was originally quoted for the new exhaust. That was a totally fair response and I haven't had a single problem with the exhaust since. 100% recommend!

This business offers a warranty and does not fulfill it.
My story is that since March 2023 they have had my boat to replace the engine, they charged more than $ 9000 and my boat still does not work. He told me it would be ready in 90 days and delivered it 9 months later.
At this point I think everything was well thought out, he delivered the boat to me for the first time "supposedly ready" by the end of December 2023 already with winter maintenance precisely so that I could not test it and forcing me to pay the full amount without me having been able to test the boat, saying that he was going to charge a daily fee if I did not pay the full amount RIGHT NOW and I without being able to test the boat.
Nothing happens, I paid it trusting that everything would be fine. At the beginning of April, as soon as the temperature of the weather rose a little, I went to have him do summer maintenance so I could go test it, he did it himself.
When I went to test the boat, it would not start properly, it would not engage the gears, and it had a loose or damaged valve, making a terrible noise. I took it back to him to finish fixing or adjusting it, and he called me two months later to say that he was not going to continue working on the boat because he was working overtime and his job was limited to changing the engine without caring if it started or worked.
Almost 2 years and 9 thousand dollars less in my bank account MY BOAT STILL DOES NOT WORK. It doesn't matter anymore; I hope this review helps someone else and they think better about leaving the boat in the hands of these people.
John (the owner) at first acts like a good person, but then he doesn't answer the phone, and if you go to see the progress of your boat, he makes false promises and does not have a good attitude. Rachel is his wife, and she only smiles to pretend that everything is fine when it is not. BE CAREFUL
I am not a person who makes these types of reviews. On Google, all my reviews are good reviews. I think this is my first bad review, but you can't play with people's money or time and care so little about it.

I reached out to this company for a quote to have my jet skis summerized. Rachel, who answered the phone, informed me it would be $125 per jet ski. This price was a good deal, saving me $200 compared to other places I had found online.
The check-in process was smooth, and I met Rachel and John in person. However, as I left, Rachel mentioned they would get back to me with a quote, which confused me since we had already agreed on the summerizing service.
After a week with no response, I followed up with Rachel, who said she would have something soon. Another week passed with no update, so I called again. Rachel assured me she would call back within an hour with the quote. When I finally received it, the amount was over $4,400. I was shocked and asked for clarification since I only requested summerizing.
Rachel couldn't provide a clear answer and said someone with more experience would contact me. John called me shortly after, and when I expressed my concerns about the high quote, he became hostile. He accused me of disrespecting his wife, implied that my jet skis were “busted up”, and suggested I had an issue with the price because I was "cheap."
Throughout the call, John was disrespectful and aggressive, making me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. He continue to yell at me and disrespect me. John told me that he cannot wait for me to do a review, because he will make me out to be the coward that I am. I didn’t raise my voice once nor did I engage in his asinine behavior. I reiterated that I did not understand the high cost for the suggested repairs, which were never mentioned initially. John continued to berate me, telling me to call him Mr. Clark instead of his first name. But calling him Mr. Clark didn’t help deescalate the situation. Ultimately he gave me 24 hours to pick up my jet skis and informing me of a $330 diagnostic fee, which based on my knowledge could be used towards repairs or maintenance. He never once gave me the option to use that towards summerizing. I asked him - in order for my jet skis to run. Do I have to get these suggested repairs? He paused for a second and with a stern voice said, yes.
When I arrived to collect my jet skis, I noticed John's demeanor had changed significantly from the first visit. He had a visible firearm, which was unsettling, and his originally stored German shepherd was now roaming free. I paid the diagnostic fee and took my jet skis to my regular repair shop, which completed the necessary minor repairs for a fraction of the cost quoted by this company. Over $3000 less.
In conclusion, my experience with this company was highly unprofessional and unpleasant. I strongly advise seeking a reputable boat repair service where you will be treated with respect and integrity. And remember, the coward lives to tell the story, John.

I live in Florida but keep my 2015 MasterCraft X46 in storage near Lake Lewisville. I needed it winterized by a trustworthy mechanic who would do mobile service. I feel fortunate to have found through Google, Dallas Boat Service, and they had many excellent reviews. They performed the winterization for a very fair price exactly on the schedule to which we agreed. They communicated by both text and phone throughout the process and sent me pictures upon completion of the work and of my boat properly secured. They are great users of technology and I was able to pay the bill immediately on my phone. I couldn't recommend Dallas Boat Service more highly.
