Very nice marina. Would be 5 star if it was still in operation. No fuel. Great mechanic (Cliff) located here. Very knowledgeable and sensible pricing.

If I could rate you -5 I would. Had our boat sink back in 2016 (while yacht quack was still in manteo) repowerd with a brand new tohatsu had yacht quack put it on for us kept having issues with water in the fuel yacht quack blamed it on being sunk (had the tank pumped 8 times) but in reality it was because they put wood screws and window calk to attach the sending unit to the ALUMINUM fuel tank. Here we are 5 years later still finding the screwed up stuff he did had a leaky ram on the steering for the motor and come to find out the end caps were seized to the ram because the great mechanics at yacht quack decided it would be a good idea to go against what the manufacturer says and not put grease on anything when assembling. Thanks yacht quack for screwing up my boat.

Cypress Cove Marina is a hidden gem for boaters. The owners know both mari operations and small boat/yacht repair. Add to that, the owners are boaters themselves and they know what other boaters need. The marina is full service for small to medium sized boats with a 25T travelift. In season (summer) there is an on-site tiki bar. There is a laid back no shoes vibe that mashes with southern hospitality.

I would give this place 0 stars if possible. My boat would not run so they replaced the timer base. They said the boat needed carbs cleaned because it wouldn't take throttle. I would not approve this because they were just cleaned the year prior. Since we weren't in agreement, they refused to do anything else. After looking closely myself I noticed that the timer base they installed was sticking. I removed the timer base and inspected closely. The timer base retainer ring needed to be replaced as well - it was causing the new timer base to stick and not allow timing advance for higher throttle. I put a new retainer ring on, a 7 dollar part, and the problem was solved. If I had approved the carb rebuilds, the problem would still exist. Avoid this shop - very poor work.
