I own an automotive performance business myself and have been in business for over 35 years. I prefer NOT to work on my own boat. Pete and his team at Cracker Boy Marine are freaking AWESOME! Seriously! He is a super cool guy, extremely knowledgeable, always available for information (even when his is NOT doing the work on my boat). In my opinion, he has extremely reasonable pricing. They have been servicing my boats for 5 years. I have had 2 different boat and just bought my 3rd in 5 years. They have rewired my console, replaced all the switches, replaced all the pumps (bilge and raw water), serviced my broken hydraulic steering, serviced the power poles, serviced a damaged tilt & trim unit and done all my 100hr services (about 1 time p/yr). I would highly recommend you use these guys, especially if you have a Yamaha engine. They seem to really know the Yamaha platform exceptionally well.

Pete is the man! Very honest and very good at what he does. I had a really bad experience with another company. I heard about Pete and took it to him. He had it running perfect the first time he looked at it. Since then I've taken the boat to him for small issues. One time he told me it was an easy fix and told me how to do it myself. The next time he told me there was no issue at all and sent me away without charging me anything either time. I'll never take my boat anywhere else as long as he's in business.
