I brought my vessel to them to be winterized. Was given a quote over the phone after sending them all 4 sides of the boat with interior photos and stats. About $380.00 was the estimated price. After bringing boat and I quote was told that THEY DID NOT REALIZE THAT THE VESSEL HAD THIS TYPE OF A MOTOR. Was re-quoted a price of around $530.00. After receiving call from them that vessel was ready for pickup was told amount would be $767.56. It was clear to me and all I talked to that this company was obviously on it's way out and was taken advantage of any first time boat owners. What infuriated me after this experience was the balls of them to send me further emails offering their services. This review was based upon the company of Glastonbury Marina. This was at least 5 years ago. I have recently found out that they have been purchased by another Marina. I will ask around to see if they have made improvements since this time has past. I am really looking for a Marina to moor my vessel within reasonable distance of me.

Not sure what’s going on here. My dad has his boat stored here, Dan, the manager has been great to us and helped arrange transport of the boat out of the marina but now we hear it’s ok to keep the boat there because the marina is for sale and whoever buys it is probably going to keep it as a marina. Oasis really messed this place up, used to be a good boatyard with full service, but now they’re trying to sell it at auction. Hopefully a new owner gets this place on an even-keel. Really great and convenient spot close to home.

Well, where do I start. I brought my boat in for service, and after I called them numerous amount of times to inquire on the status, they blocked my number. It was going straight to voicemail, but when I called them from a different phone, they answered right away. They were giving me every excuse in the book to justify a to why they didn't answer. I didn't buy it! Now they're saying it starts but it's running hot, I told them to fix it. Another month passed and it was fix but they didn't sound convincing. I wanted to hear it run, that never happened. It's winterized, so I'm hoping the repairs they claimed to have done, were. I have to wait for next boating season to find out. My trailer jack was damaged, and they never informed me of it. I had to find out when I went to pick up my boat. I brought it to their attention, so they replaced it. When I got home I noticed other issues, my Bimini cover was torn, and the anode for the outboard motor is missing. Dan was they service guy I spoke to the most, and I have to say he was clueless on what was being done to my boat. It had been well over a month, and I'm still waiting on a detail receipt of all the work that was done. I will never bring my boat there, and strongly recommend others not to. I wonder at times, perhaps if I was Caucasian, I would've been treated differently, and my boat would've been repair within a reasonable time.

We've had our boat at another local marina for years. We decided to switch when the other marina was sold and became less personable. Best decision ever! Jim (Manager) and Dan always greet and acknowledge us kindly every week we went last summer. Can't wait for boating season to start again! I like that Oasis allows you drop your boat in early May and not have to remove it until the end of October, giving us a few more boating opportunities. The bathrooms are very clean and air conditioned. There are slips on the river and in the basin. We enjoy being in the basin away from the current of the Ct. River and other boaters wakes, however you do need to be aware of low tide time. You can get stuck in the channel of the basin if you time it incorrectly. The new management is considering dredging it so that will help. Gasoline is sold there as well. Though this marina is a few minutes further, it's well worth the extra drive.
