First class operation. Have had boats for 55 years by far best techs and service department I have ever dealt with. There srorage is clean. Nothing but good things to say about staff.

My experience for a diagnosis on my boat with the service provider was pleasing knowledgeable and thoughtful he give information about the particular reason. I called Chicago yacht works. Individual that I spoke to on the phone was very pleasing. Cordial as well as informative to give information of how the dockside servive is done.The mechanic that came out in my opinion was very well knowledgeable about my boats mechanical needs and would be able to repair it dockside so kudos to service providers, Vince and Derrick, i'm awaiting to get the work done I recommend this company if you've been out here dealing with different Marine services company and not satisfied or them saying that they don't work on boat that are older than 97. Matter of fact, this particular technician mechanic said he has no problem and like working on older boats. what a relief that is for me and others like me. Chicago yet works. They were very knowledgeable about my boat and it's needs. And it is a 36 year-old boat and they were able to rectify the situation. God bless you guys. Thank you. 😊

1 Star is all they are earning at this point because we have called several times and they have not returned calls. If I was a customer living in the Chicago area looking to sell my boat I would be concerned that this company did not have my best interest at heart and they are probably missing out on sales or having their boats sold sooner. We live six hours away and are willing to invest the time driving there to see a boat in person that we are interested in and having a moving company come and pick it up and bring it home and we can’t even get a return phone call to arrange seeing a boat we like.

Update - 2024 For the best boat services Chicago has to offer this place is truly top notch. They've got a couple of great mechanics working for them as well. I keep our boat in Burnham Harbor and they also have the best mechanical boat service near me and really do show up and get your boat running in an emergency. Update- spring of 2023 Another GREAT year with the best boat storage yard in Chicago! I've been using this particular yacht yard for almost 10 years now and I'm still amazed on how good they keep it all together and running smoothly. I have been boating here in Chicago for 40 plus years and have stored my boats at pretty much every boat yard in and around the city of Chicago, and this is by far the best winter storage place to date... and I don't plan on ever leaving either! Great boat yard to keep your boat at. Everybody there is extremely helpful and the service dept. is TOP TOP notch and prices are pretty reasonable too. If you need any work done I wouldn't wait as they get busy during the winter months and you don't want to be late for the spring launch UPDATE; Another great year with Chicago yacht works! I really appreciate all the hard work they do at this yard. I run a yacht charter here in Chicago and rely heavily on this boat yard to keep us up and running

Jonathan and Patrick showed outstanding customer service and ability to take on my boat -not a yacht (: and get it scheduled and fixed correctly. I have tried many marine repair shops and none treat you and service you as professionally as CYW.
