Chesapeake City Boat Ramp

Had a great time paddle boarding then lunch there

Easy to access. I wouldn’t try it without 4wd it’s a pretty steep ramp.

Nice boat ramp and beautiful scenery. You can see the Chesapeake City Bridge, the Chesapeake inn, and the boats parked by the Army Corp of Engineers (ACE). If you walk the path behind the ACE you can get to the canal. I've also launched my kayak from the boat ramp and paddled out to the canal but I wouldn't recommend going in it in a kayak. Very small staging area, and difficult to get any substantial-sized truck and trailer not the ramp. Limited parking. Short ramp very closely lined by large rocks.

I didn't use the ramp. What a nice walk from the Cafe on the Bay (S Chesapeake City) past the back of the Army Corps of Engineers! About 1 1/2mi R/T.
