Casper Marine & Rec.

I'm not much of one to complain, but I have to share this after today's experience. Having called more than a week ago to see if they have a Mercruiser fuse, I was directed to send part photos and info via text with their parts folks (pretty good concept). Once they had the info, they informed me that part was out of stock, but they had placed an order the day before and expected them in roughly a week. They quoted me $23.94 + tax and I asked that they call me when it comes in. Better than a week goes by and since I hadn't received a call, I called them to see if there was an ETA. They tell me the part was in and ready for pickup... So I stop in to get the part and they say it's now $54 and change. I question the price and they say there are two different part numbers, and the one I wanted would need to be ordered. I show them the message exchange I had with them via text, but it failed to make a point. After a short conversation, they produce another part which was very similar (different electrical post sizes). It was actually the part I needed, but it was still $10+ more than I was formerly told. I got the part, but I'm not sure what happened to honoring your word.

We bought a used pontoon boat from a private sale, the boat had been sitting for quite some time and had some maintenance issues. After several unsuccessful visits to our local marine center to get the boat in a reliable order we brought the boat to Casper Marine & Rec. Val did a fantastic job keeping us informed, she quickly identified the issue and scheduled the work. Val kept us informed of the progress and called with other suggested repairs to get our approval before scheduling additional work. Val seemed ready to help us prioritize work and was mindful with our budget. After all work was completed a staff member took the boat out to the lake to verify all repairs and gave us extra confidence for our next outing. We traveled 2 hours to get our boat fixed and were very pleased with every step of the process. Excellent customer service and we will definitely go back in the future for our boating needs.

White’s Marine is the best place to buy a boat! We called and put down a deposit, sight unseen, for a used boat. We traveled to Casper and bought the boat within the week. After launching a few times, the boat needed a few minor repairs. Craig, Fawn and Val made sure everything was done correctly. They scheduled everything and kept us up to date on the repairs. Our boat was repaired on time and as promised. We are so happy with our purchase and will be doing business with them again! If you are in the market for a new or used boat, I highly recommend White’s Marine!!!

I usually only do private sales with cars and boats but I couldn’t refuse their offer on a used boat they had. It was in excellent condition, ran really well, and was reasonably priced. I had a good experience. They were good people to work with and I think they were fair and honest. I would gladly do business here again. And I live about 4 hours away too!

You couldn’t get better service from Whites! From start to finish I felt more like family than just a customer. They made buying my first new boat very exciting and pleasant! It was water ready when I got there and they even take out to the lake and run through every thing with you! The marine store is also worth a mention because the prices are very reasonable and the staff are very helpful and friendly.
